I was fortunate to visit the Ai Weiwei exhibition 2015 at the Royal Academy. It was the first time for me to behold Ai Weiwei's work in the flesh and I was absolutely blown away. Here are a few images, mostly details, of the pieces that intrigued me the most.
Intention and depth of the work aside, all the work of Ai Weiwei's workshop features incredible craftsmanship. I was amazed by the carpentry details, particularly the joints.
